Another apparent US drone strike killed an Islamic State fighter in the northern Syrian village of Hamam al-Turkman on Monday, according to “a Kurdish-Syrian security official” who spoke with the AP. Hamam al-Turkman is near the city of Tel Abyad in a region controlled by the Turkish military and its rebel proxies. The US military has not, as of this writing, commented on the strike but it’s been quite active in going after alleged IS figures over the past several days.
