Reuters reports on the demonstrations that marked International Women’s Day around the world:
An apparent drone strike killed at least seven people and wounded 15 others in eastern Syria’s Deir Ezzor province on Wednesday, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The Observatory says the attack targeted “a weapons factory and a truck loaded with weapons.” There’s no indication as to responsibility but either Israel or the US could have carried out the strike.
