Residents of Syria’s Hasakah province are accusing Turkish border guards of gunning down, and possibly torturing beforehand, two men caught attempting to cross into Turkey. Their bodies were discovered on Tuesday in the border town of Darbasiyah, shot and showing signs of having been roughly handled prior to that. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights is claiming that at least seven people have been killed on the Turkish border so far this year.
