An apparent Israeli missile attack struck targets south of Damascus on Friday, including Damascus International Airport. According to Syrian media the attack caused one injury along with material damage that an airport runway. Syrian authorities shut the facility down after the attack and rerouted flights to Aleppo’s international airport instead.
