The United Nations’ humanitarian affairs office says that fighting around the Yemeni port city of Hudaydah displaced some 25,000 people in November. Clashes are up in that region since a UAE-backed militia withdrew from its positions for redeployment to more interesting parts of the country. Houthi fighters and other pro-government forces moved into secure the abandoned positions and fighting ensued.
