The UN debates intervening in Haiti, Iranian-made drones strike Ukraine, and more
This week, the United States and United Nations edged closer to military intervention in Haiti. Warring Syrian rebel groups came to a Turkish-brokered ceasefire. Russian bombardment continued to cripple Ukrainian energy infrastructure. The European Union sanctioned Iran for its purported sale of drones to Russia. And, for the time being, US-Saudi relations seem to have survived the fallout from OPEC+’s announced oil production cuts.
