A Ukrainian counteroffensive, heavy fighting between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and more
This week, a successful Ukrainian counteroffensive pushed Russian forces back in the northeastern part of the country. Queen Elizabeth’s death was marked by national mourning and arrests of anti-monarchy protestors. Armenian and Azerbaijan forces came to a tentative ceasefire after heavy fighting. Chilean voters resoundingly rejected a new constitution. And, fighting continued between the TPLF and the Ethiopian government following the breakdown of their ceasefire last month.
