The IDF expands its second phase in Gaza, Houthi rebels fire at Israel, and more
This week, the Israeli military expanded the second phase of its operations in Gaza, repeatedly targeting the Jabalya refugee camp with airstrikes. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah addressed the public regarding Gaza for the first time since October 7. Houthi rebels fired a barrage of missiles and drones at Israel that were intercepted. Pakistani authorities began rounding up undocumented migrants—mostly Afghan nationals—and deporting them. And Ukraine’s top military commander claimed that Ukraine and Russia were locked in a “stalemate” for the first time since the Russian invasion began.
