This week, Eritrean forces began to depart Tigray, signaling further progress towards implementation of last year’s peace agreement. Protests continued in southern Peru and the unrest spread into Lima. The Israeli Supreme Court ordered a minister removed from office for his criminal convictions, plunging Israel further into political crisis. Azerbaijan and Armenia remained deadlocked over key terms in their agreement that brought an end to the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War. And Ukraine’s arms suppliers were at loggerheads over the provision of main battle tanks.
