This week, Israeli settlers rampaged through the West Bank town of Huwara. Nigeria’s presidential election came to a close, although court challenges to the election results continue. The United Kingdom and European Commission came to a tentative agreement on the post-Brexit status of Northern Ireland. IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi arrived in Iran to discuss last week’s detection of 84 percent enriched uranium. And, Ukrainian drone strikes entered Russian airspace while attacks by pro-Ukrainian militants elsewhere in western Russia drew the rebuke of Vladimir Putin.
