A timeline of the week's events in Ukraine, along with some stories you may have missed
This week will be a bit different due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine dominating headlines. In an attempt to keep things brief, I will provide a timeline of major incidents leading up to and including the invasion. If you would like more in-depth analysis of specific events, you can visit the round-up for that particular day.
Additionally, there are some important stories you may have missed: Tensions are rising of the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, especially as the Afghan government faces an economic crisis. It was a complicated week for negotiations over the revival of the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement. Finally, Libya’s constitutional crisis deepened.
