This week, negotiations over the Iran nuclear deal may have made limited progress. Russia and NATO argued over intermediate-range nuclear missiles, and Russia laid out a list of security demands for the alliance. Polling indicated that Chile’s presidential election is a dead heat, with the future of its constitutional convention possibly on the line. Tunisian President Kais Saied announced a path back to democracy, albeit on his terms. And the UAE threatened to back out of a major US arms deal.
