This week, factional fighting broke out within Yemen’s pro-government coalition. After a violent weekend in Gaza, Israel and Palestine Islamic Jihad struck a ceasefire brokered by the Egyptian government. Mysterious explosions rocked Russia’s Saki airbase in Crimea. The Colombian government agreed to restart peace negotiations with the National Liberation Army. And following Nancy Pelosi’s departure, Chinese military exercises wound down around Taiwan.
