This week, Sweden and Finland made tentative forays towards NATO membership. Protests continued in Armenia and Sri Lanka. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoǧan returned from his trip to Saudi Arabia after striking a deal to revive mutual economic relations. And amid fighting a war, a senior Russian official made some ill-advised comments that sparked harsh criticism from Israel.
