Drones target the Kremlin, Turkey claims the death of the Islamic State’s caliph, and more
This week, two drones allegedly targeting the Kremlin were intercepted by Russian defenses. The warring Sudanese military and Rapid Support Forces sent representatives to Saudi Arabia to discuss a concrete ceasefire. The United Nations made a vague re-commitment to providing aid on the ground in Afghanistan. The death of Khader Adnan in Israeli custody led to rockets being launched out of Gaza, which were met with an Israeli response until a ceasefire was reached. And, Turkey announced it killed the Islamic State’s caliph in Syria.
