What none of the various pro-empire goons ever talk about are the unknown knowns. In other words, all of the blindingly obvious information out there which they are too lazy to gather or purposefully ignore.
Enjoyed this read, thank you Daniel. One thought I have about "unknown unknowns" is that they create a vacuum where ideology and power rush in to fill the void. In other words, for those who have fully imbibed empire and are positionally situated in places of power and dominance, the vacuum of an unknown unknown will appear to be a pristine, unconquered frontier for them to civilize. And that's exactly the fucking problem.

Good article. Also +10 points for “deracinated”.
Awesome article Daniel! What do you think it will take for America to ditch this "auotpilot" ideology?
That’s the big question! I honestly am uncertain.
